If you have been wondering whether or not a Law & Order season 26 was going to happen at NBC, we finally have good news!

The aforementioned site does not there is a chance that there could be some budget cuts, which is often the case for any primetime scripted show. Meanwhile, there is no indicator that this is going to be the final season, meaning the door is still open for more.

When will season 26 premiere?

It is a little too early to say anything for sure on that but at the same time, we do tend to think there is a good chance it is September / early October. Over the next few days, we will at least have a chance to learn where it sits in the fall schedule, and we consider that at least a start. A more exact date could be launched in the summer, and it is personally just our hope that we are going to have a chance to see some compelling cases and interesting guest stars as we move forward.
