Is Boston Blue new tonight on CBS, May 8, 2026?

Is Boston Blue new tonight on CBS? We know that we are into May sweeps and within that, there has to be a desire for installments every week. So is that going to actually happen?
Well, without further ado, let’s just go ahead and share the good news now that you will be seeing Donnie Wahlberg and the rest of the cast back in a matter of hours! There are three installments left this season and in general, we tend to think that there could be different, exciting, and unpredictable stuff at the center of all of them. Or, at the very least, this is what we want. Sure, there are going to be some procedural arcs but to go along with that, we could have some long-term stories form at the same time? You never know…

To get a few more details on what is ahead, be sure to check out the Boston Blue season 1 episode 18 synopsis below:
“Personal Foul” – When a college basketball star is threatened, Danny and Lena race to protect them while solving a murder. Meanwhile, deeply personal conflicts and moral dilemmas surface, forcing the team to confront difficult truths about loyalty, identity and justice, on the CBS Original series BOSTON BLUE, Friday, May 8 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
We still find it funny that this is not the first basketball-related case Danny has worked, since he did something similar over on Blue Bloods. Still, we tend to view every single case of his alongside Lena as a chance for the two to learn more about each other. Why wouldn’t we want that for a show that is coming back for a season 2?
