Tracker season 3 episode 19 spoilers: Maxine returns

Next week on CBS, you are going to have a chance to dive into Tracker season 3 episode 19 — so what more can we say about what is to come?
Well, first and foremost, we should start off here by noting that “Chain of Custody” feels like the sort of story that could set the table for the home stretch ahead. There are four more stories to come this season in general, and we are lucky to know that a season 4 is on the way already. That takes some of the pressure off when it comes to tying up every single loose end.

As for what in particular is coming on Tracker season 3 episode 19, let’s just say it begins with a recurring player from earlier this season coming back in Maxine. The synopsis below sets the stage further:
“Chain of Custody” – Reenie hires Colter to locate the star witness of her and Maxine’s (Robertson) lawsuit against a corrupt real estate developer on the eve of trial, on the CBS Original series TRACKER, Sunday, May 3 (8:59-9:59 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
Obviously, we know that this is an episode that will probably deliver the goods when it comes to a story-of-the-week plot — but can we get something more beyond that? This is one of those shows where in general, it works best if we get a little bit of short-term and long-term all at once. (We imagine of the reasons why we do not get more of the latter is simply because there are 22 episodes in a season — that makes planning things out a little bit harder than it would otherwise.)
