The Way Home season 4 episode 2 spoilers: Kat & a new mystery

Following what you see tonight on Hallmark Channel, it only makes sense to look towards The Way Home season 4 episode 2. So what lies around the corner?

Well, for starters, let’s just say that you are going to be seeing more time travel … though that should’ve been a given. A part of what is exciting about the season is a prospect of getting into a whole new era and with that, seeing new layers and dynamics unfold. While we do think Kat’s journey will nod to parts of her past, there are also going to be chances for it to carry into brand-new mysteries and questions. We welcome that, just as we do any opportunity for the writers to take some risks.

Obviously, a good bit more of the series is defined now by the fact that we are in the final season and within that, are building towards some major questions in regards to how it all ends. Do we think that any major clues are going to be dropped on that right away? Probably not, but we do still hold out hope that most of the main characters will find an element of happiness along the way. It has not always come easy, mostly because they have been forced to not just ask things of themselves, but also the people they want to be. We still consider the show a great example of time-travel done right.
