The Boys season 5 spoilers: A big Karl Urban tease

We know that we’ve been waiting for a long time to see The Boys season 5 premiere on Prime Video and with that in mind, of course we will take a tease wherever we can for what is to come!

By virtue of that, let’s go ahead and hear from someone in Karl Urban who certainly knows the world better than most. He has been around from the beginning as Butcher and moving forward, he is certainly more dangerous than he’s ever been. We are talking here about someone who has wanted to stop Homelander at all costs, but does he have more of an ability to do so now? It is at least possible.

Of course, Urban could not give too much away to TV Insider when it comes to the end result of the season. However, he did note that for those who loved the early seasons of the show in particular, the final stretch will make you happy:

“It really feels like peak Boys this season, having the gang back together in the way that we did in seasons one and two, and every week coming up with a new way to not only take down Homelander, but also taking down other Supes along the way … To me, that’s The Boys at its best.”

Our general hope at this point is very-much that we will see a lot of fun banter once everyone does potentially get back together. We recognize that a lot of the Boys are imprisoned at the start of the season in some form, but the trailers indicate they will eventually find their way out.

Also, we are going to hear Kimiko speak! Isn’t that a cause for enthusiasm on its own?
