Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 episode 7: That Shaw twist…

As we get ourselves prepared to see Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 episode 7 on Apple TV next week, just how crazy will things become?

Well, first and foremost, we tend to think that a lot is going to be centered around what we saw from Lee Shaw at the end of episode 6. After all, the character is communicating with … another version of himself at Axis Mundi? Is this series going full time-loop? It would be almost bonkers if they are given that this is not the only streaming series this week taking on such a subject. (Of course, we hesitate to name the other one in fear of spoiling something.) Let’s just say that the Shaw twist could reverberate in a big way, especially since there are still so many scrambling to figure out how to handle Titan X.

From the get-go, let’s just go ahead and say that Cate and Keiko actually seem to have the best overall plan here. After all, they are working based on data and things that they have already figured out, beginning with the fact that Anna Sawai’s character does have some sort of bizarre connection with the Titan. Would it be nice to have more information on the subject? Sure, but at the same time, we tend to think that is coming — and we could see a conflict of ideology as we do move further into the season.
