Ted Lasso season 4 premiere date: An April 2026 update

Is there any chance that, between now and the end of April, we are going to learn more about Ted Lasso season 4? At this point, we know that the Jason Sudeikis comedy is done with production and by virtue of that, we are in a spot now waiting for some more news to come out.
Now, the good news is that as of right now, we are lucky to at least have a smidgen of news regarding the future of the show — namely, that it is coming this summer. Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca) even suggested back at the BAFTA Film Awards that we could see it come back moving into August. Sure, that is not confirmed as of yet, but will that change?

While we do not want to sit here and say for sure that a season 4 premiere date will be confirmed this month, we would not be shocked if it was. After all, remember that Apple does sometimes release dates for their popular shows several months in advance, and this is one of the biggest ones that they have. Also, with another Bill Lawrence series in Shrinking wrapping up its own season soon, it does make sense to set the table for what is ahead. That could mean a premiere date, but it could also mean a teaser or just a few other specifics on what is to come.
So far, the biggest thing we can say about the future of Ted Lasso is that the focus is shifting to a new women’s team at AFC Richmond. Many main characters from the first three seasons will return — as for the players, we are hopeful that they could turn up in at least smaller parts of the story. Yet, not all that much is confirmed there for the time being.
