Slow Horses season 6 premiere date: An April 2026 update

With us now into the month of April, is there some great Slow Horses season 6 premiere date news coming within the immediate future?

Well, the first thing that we really should state here is just that we are clearly building up to some sort of announcement within the next two or three months. This season finished filming a long time ago and with that, Apple TV is really just in a spot where they are working to figure out the best time to bring the Gary Oldman show back. (For those wondering, there is also a season 7 coming down the road as well.)

So what are the chances that we get an exact return date reveal before the month is over? Well, for now, we are likely to say they are low, mostly for one simple reason: Last year, a Slow Horses season 5 premiere date was revealed in June, which set the stage for a September return. At least for now, we have no real reason to think that the timeline here is going to be pushed up too much. For awards-show reasons season 6 absolutely will not premiere until after June 1, and we do think that the streaming service wants to space some of these chapters out as much as they can. Making the show into an annual event is smart, especially since that consistency also goes a long way to ensuring that viewers stick around.

Season six sees the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.

For now, be prepared to go back to Slough House moving into either August or September — if it comes earlier or we get some major news in April, you can consider that a pleasant surprise.
