The Day of the Jackal season 2 premiere date: Spring update

Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about The Day of the Jackal season 2 between now and the end of the spring? Well, we would not blame anyone who wants it!

After all, consider the fact that it has been so much since the drama drama was last on the air. It makes a lot of sense for Peacock to be interested in getting the word out on the future … but they also have a standard promotional campaign schedule to keep. Typically, the streaming service really starts to get the wheels turning a few months before a show comes back … but are we anywhere close to that right now?

Well, this is where some of the regrettable news has to come out here, as we are going to be waiting a while to get any further news on the future of the show. While The Day of the Jackal season 2 filming has started, we are not anywhere near a point where some substantial pieces of information are going to come out. If we are lucky, we will be stuck waiting until at least the end of this year to see the show back, and we hope that a premiere could be revealed in the late summer or early fall.

In the end, we really do not think that the producers are going to be looking to do much to reinvent the wheel moving into the next part of the series. Most of the action and intrigue from season 1 will still bet there, and we really just hope that the viewers are, as well. It is not lost on us, after all, that it can be really hard to keep an audience when new seasons are only coming out every other year.
