Following what you see tonight on PBS, why wouldn’t you want more when it comes to The Forsytes season 1 episode 3? Based on where things stand at present, we really do think the show and its characters are about to become more comples.

After all, one of the appeals of any costume drama like this is that for the first couple of episodes, you really take some time in order to settle into the world. After all, there is a real chance to start to get to know a few people better and understand more of what truly makes them tick. There are certain societal conventions that you want to see them meet thanks to the time period — however, a big part of the fun here is what happens when you start to see them break away. Is that about to change? Well, it is possible, especially since sabotage is looking to be at least one component to what lies ahead.

To get a few more details now on what is to come, be sure to check out the full The Forsytes season 1 episode 3 synopsis below:

Jo hopes to fulfill newfound obligations while James’s attempts to sabotage him intensify. June seeks solace with Philip. Soames promises Irene a move to Paris and support for her dancing.

In general, it is our feeling that as time progresses here, we are going to have more opportunities to better understand what someone like Soames is looking to gain — and if there are multiple motives happening here at once.

If there is one thing we know…

Well, it is that the story is going to have to move quickly, as there are only six installments in this season. Like many other British dramas, this is not a series that is looking to sit around or waste a lot of time.
