Doc season 2 episode 19 spoilers: Joan’s successor…

As we get prepared to see Doc season 2 episode 19 over on Fox next week, are you ready for a significant sea change? After all, this is Joan’s last day and through that, we are going to have a chance to see a new Chief Resident named.

What does this mean for Felicity Huffman’s future on the show? We are still curious about that but at the same exact time, we’re not sure that the show has any interest making that clear for the time being. Why would they, given that there is an opportunity to offer clarity in seven days? We recognize that this will be a huge part of what is ahead but at the same time, here is your reminder that the medical drama still has a lot of other stuff on its plate, including patients and life-or-death situations.

Given that there are only a few more episodes of the show left this season, we tend to imagine that all of them are going to be important. Be prepared for a few twists and turns and beyond that, also some sort of cliffhanger at the end. Given that there is a season 3 renewal out there already, that is something we do not have to worry about.
