The Madison season 2 premiere date hopes over on Paramount+
Following the finale that is happening this weekend over on Paramount+, is there more that can be said regarding The Madison season 2? Can we make some sort of big prediction regarding a return date or anything more?
Well, first and foremost, let’s begin here by simply noting that the Michelle Pfeiffer drama has already been renewed by the aforementioned streaming service. Not only that, but it has already been filmed in its totality! This means that there is a little more in the way of options as to when it could return, but we imagine that the powers-that-be are still going to be a little bit careful when it comes to that.

After all, streamers like Paramount+ often do think a lot about awards consideration. Season 1 of The Madison will be eligible for the Emmys this summer and then also the Golden Globes moving into next winter. Odds are, they will wait for season 2 to premiere until January or February in order to ensure that it has eligible for a separate awards cycle. That also does give a lot of viewers a great opportunity to catch up, in the event they are behind for whatever reason.
Now as for what the long-term future of the series holds, there could potentially be more beyond this, but a lot is going to depend on exactly how these two seasons perform. For the time being, let’s just say that there does continue to be a certain amount of mystery when it comes to that. While we remain hopeful that we’re going to be seeing a lot of viewers tune in, it remains somewhat hard to determine thanks in part to the unusual scheduling here. There are not, after all, a lot of series that end up airing on Saturdays.
