For those of you who are not currently aware, Lioness season 3 is getting close to the end of production — so what exactly does that mean for the future?

First and foremost here, this is where we should throw out there just how many reasons there are to be excited about the next chapter. So many beloved characters from the first two seasons of the show are going to be back, and a lot of the social-media teases that are out there tend to suggest that we will see a great deal of action and intensity. In other words, something similar to what we saw the first two times! We just hope that it ends up being a curious and exciting evolution.

Now as for what the end of filming will mean for a Lioness season 3 premiere date, let’s just say that we very-much believe that the summer is in play here. Dutton Ranch is likely to be the next Taylor Sheridan show out after The Madison but if it premieres around May, that opens the door for the Nicole Kidman – Zoe Saldana series to surface once we get around to either June or July. This still feels like a perfect summer show, and we should just note that season 1 did great numbers in July (as evidenced by the key art above).

Over the next couple of months, we tend to think that the next priority is simply going to be making sure that the next batch of episodes are edited together in as strong a way as possible. Moving forward, we do think the goal is going to be giving you so much more of the world that you love, but also throwing new obstacles in the direction of Cruz, Joe, and everyone else. Perhaps the greatest tests of their overall mettle are still to come?
