The Night Agent season 4 premiere date: The best-case scenario

We are a little under a week removed from The Night Agent officially getting a season 4 renewal and of course, it is easy to be thrilled about that! While it was considered inevitable for a good while that we’d have more of Gabriel Basso and the rest of the cast, it is still nice to see it officially get that green light.
With all of that being said, though, this is where we do make the leap over to asking the following: Just how long are we really going to be waiting for what’s next?

In the past, we have touched on some promising early news for The Night Agent next season, including that there is already a deal in place to film in the greater Los Angeles area. The story was being constructed before the renewal even came in, with the central objective being to make sure that episodes could be ready before too long. As of right now, it feels like an arrival in spring 2027 is very much the best possible scenario. While it would be great to have it back next February, a 12-month turnaround year after year is probably too much to ask for a show that has this much near-constant action. It takes time to edit together after production is complete, and some patience is required because of that.
Even if we are stuck with a 14 or 15-month wait between seasons, is it really that bad? Well, just remember that there are plenty of other shows out there, whether it be Severance or House of the Dragon, that make you wait a good two years or even longer.
