Star Trek: Starfleet Academy season 2 premiere date hopes

After what you see in terms of the season 1 finale today on Paramount+, is there more we can say regarding a Star Trek: Starfleet Academy season 2?

As per usual, there is of course a lot of really exciting stuff here to share, but it is worth noting first and foremost that there is 100% another chapter on the way! Filming has actually already taken place for the second chapter, with it wrapping close to the end of next month. This gives the producers plenty of time to render all the visual effects necessary for the show, and it allows the streaming service to be pretty patient when it comes to getting the episodes out there.

From where we sit, we tend to think that a winter / spring 2027 window makes the most sense for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy season 2, and the reason for the early renewal may have been working to ensure that there is less of a wait between seasons.

As for whether or not season 2 could be the end…

Regrettably, we would argue that there is a good chance of that for many reasons, with the biggest one being the simple fact that the first season never managed to generate all that much when it comes to mainstream buzz. However, if you do still want to see more of it down the line, our advice is rather simple: Spread the word! You never know what could happen here in the event that there are enough people managing to pay attention and get on board. The Starfleet concept is certainly not new, as there are generations of Trek fans out there who are very-much aware of the institution.
