Lioness season 3 premiere date: A March 2026 update

Is there any chance at all that we are going to get a Lioness season 3 premiere date between now and the end of March? Or, at the very least, more insight on what the future could hold?

As per usual, there is always a lot to say on a show like this when it is so deep into production. We will start it off, though, with a reminder that Nicole Kidman and the rest of the cast have been working on it for several months now. Given the nature of this series, we have to imagine that they are reasonably close to the end and with that, there is a chance more news from Paramount+ will be coming up soon.

Does that mean an actual premiere-date reveal this month? Well, from where we sit, it is probably still a little too early … though we also do not think it is that far away. The most-likely situation for a show like Lioness is that we get a premiere this summer and within that, a reveal at some point in April or May. If we are to line it up against some other Taylor Sheridan shows, the Yellowstone spin-off The Dutton Ranch likely comes first and we will be back to dive more into this shortly after the fact.

What is the story going to be here?

Well, from where we sit the primary focus is going to be on another operation, and that evidence is intensified further by a lot of the behind-the-scenes updates we have seen at this point. Yet, we would at least like to see a slightly different format to keep us on our toes, maybe where the final episodes are a little more emotional and smaller-scale in nature. Season 2 had some fantastic moments, but we will say the ending fell short of season 1’s mastery.
