Pluribus season 2 premiere date: A March 2026 update

With us now arriving at the start of March, can we start to celebrate that we are ever closer to Pluribus season 2 arriving?

First and foremost here, let’s begin with yet another reminder of what Vince Gilligan has said in the past regarding the future of the show — namely, that we are going to be waiting for a good while in order to see it. There are no specific dates set for filming at this given moment in time, but we are still hoping that it could be coming back at some point moving into the end of next year. Anything before that is a pipe dream and at this point, there’s a legitimate chance that this particular time frame could be as well.

What we are trying to say here is that the odds of there being much news on season 2 this month are pretty slim to none, even if it would be nice to get some sort of tease at least for the story. The assumption we would currently make is that moving forward, Carol will legitimately view the Joined as more of an adversary after she learned what they have been doing to try and get her DNA. While Manousos may hardly be the most cordial of people, she is the closest thing to an ally she has at this point. She may need to cling to that if she really wants to get anywhere close to answers on if she can turn anyone back.

As for beyond season 2, we do know that Gilligan has not said anything to suggest that the show is anywhere close to an end. We’d personally like to see it last until at least a season 3 or 4, though we do worry that the long wait between seasons could shorten its shelf life.
