Is FBI new tonight on CBS? We know that the crime drama has been on a break now for a rather long time now … but is it almost over?

Well, let’s just say that this is where we have both the good news and bad to share. Where do we start? Well, it makes sense to just get the bad out of the way: There is no installment on the air tonight. However, there is still a silver lining as you will not be left waiting too much longer to see what is ahead! The crime drama returns on February 23 for a story that will feature Nina and Scola getting married — and isn’t that worth the wait?

To better set the table for the future here, we suggest that you check out not only season 8 episode 11, but also the twelfth episode airing the following week:

Season 8 episode 11, “Confetti” – When an undercover operation being led by Special Agent Nina Chase (guest star Shantel VanSanten) goes sideways, the team works together to flip their only witness to help them hunt down a rip crew at a cartel wedding. The aftermath leads Nina and Scola to realize they are ready to tie the knot, on FBI, Monday, Feb. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Season 8 episode 12, “Daybreak” – When a federal whistleblower is murdered while in FBI custody along with two agents, the team is stunned to find a familiar perpetrator has resurfaced. Meanwhile, OA wrestles with telling the team what is happening in his personal life, on FBI, Monday, March 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Of course, our hope is that we are going to be getting a lot more from the show in the weeks ahead with fewer breaks along the way — though we imagine that we’ll be stuck waiting for a while to get information on the schedule to come long-term.
