Well, in true show fashion we more than anticipate that a number of major events are going to unfold across this hour, but at the center of it may be a situation in Hope Valley that is quaint but also charming: A lack of jam for Minnie to sell now that she has a fantastic offer to branch out.

After all, Minnie is doing her best to ask for some help, and we like to imagine that Elizabeth and everyone else in Hope Valley will rally together. Don’t they usually? A big part of the community’s charm is their ability to work together to solve some issues.

Is this the most high-stakes storyline that the series is giving us? We do not necessarily think so but at the same time, that is what we appreciate about it. We recognize that everything is still going on with the fire investigation and because of that, you want to try and balance it out with a few other things. That is, after all, what makes the most sense. There is still no confirmation that the fire story will be ending soon, so we need a few more plots like this in the meantime. Balance is, after all, one of the things that is the most important to a story that has this many constant characters.
