Tell Me Lies season 3 episode 8 (finale): Grace Van Patten’s tease
Next week on Hulu, you will be seeing Tell Me Lies season 3 episode 8 officially arrive — and of course we have high hopes for something great! This is the end of the season, but it has been well-documented already that this could be the end of the series. That is a comment that executive producer Meaghan Oppenheimer has noted many times in the past.
It goes without saying, but it does remain commendable the idea that you have a clear beginning, middle, and end to your story and do not necessarily want to drag things on forever. However, at the same time we recognize that endings are not necessarily what they seem. We do think there is a universe here where the show “ends” and then in a year or two, another idea eventually comes out that the entire team explores.

So what does star Grace Van Patten have to say about all this? Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, she clearly lines out how we could be getting into the series finale, but she would also be happy to continue:
You never know. I think it becomes a conversation maybe after it’s all out. But I really believe that it could go both ways. I love the ending so much. It’s an amazing ending, if it was the end. And I also think they are amazing writers, and Meaghan could think something up to continue the story. So I’d be very happy either way.
Ultimately, we do believe that Hulu would love more Tell Me Lies, if for the simple reason that the show seems to be peaking in popularity at this given point. There are not a lot of other series out there that manage to do that, so why not sit back and be pretty darn excited now?
