Is 9-1-1 new tonight on ABC? We recognize that the medical drama was off last week, but is everything poised to change in a matter of hours?
Well, unfortunately, this is the part of this piece where we do have to hand over the unfortunate news that you will be waiting a little while longer for the first-responder show to come back. We are in the midst of the Winter Olympics and at this point, it is abundantly clear that the network wants to steer clear of that competition to keep the ratings in a good spot. The plan at present is to bring Angela Bassett and the rest of the cast back on February 26, and we hope that there are going to be fewer breaks in the action the rest of the way.

In general, this does feel like a story that is poised to give you more of what you’ve come to know and love from this show. Of course, there is going to be some sort of dangerous and high-octane storyline. However, at the same time this will be paired with something lighter, and it does feel like something interesting could come out of that charity auction. Is it going to be awkward for the participants? We wonder that already…
