Twisted Metal season 3 premiere date: A February 2026 update
Is there a chance that we are going to hear more about Twisted Metal season 3 between now and the end of February? Make no mistake that we’d love nothing more than to get back into this world and soon! It was fairly difficult to know what to expect entering the first two seasons, but it far exceeded our expectations when it comes to action, humor, and showing care for the source material. It is also one of the reasons we’re so glad that the Anthony Mackie series will be coming back for more.
So are we going to be going to be learning more about the next chapter in the relatively near future? Well, this is where we may have some of the bad news…

While we know that Twisted Metal season 3 is likely filming at some point this year in the greater Toronto area, we’ve yet to reach a point where there are any sort of larger specifics. If we are lucky, that is going to change in the months to come — but it feels foolish to expect a lot right now when the cameras may not be rolling for a little while longer. Given how much of the story is outdoors, don’t be surprised if the producers wait for the weather to warm up to solidify some plans.
As for when we will actually see the finished product here, our general feeling is that we will be lucky to see it at some point moving into spring or summer 2027 — but even that is hard to speculate on without knowing the filming dates. This is, after all, a show that needs some time after filming wraps in order to generate all the necessary visual effects.
