The Night Manager season 3: Is it renewed, canceled?

Following the season 2 finale on Prime Video, is The Night Manager season 3 going to happen? Or, have we reached the end of the story already?

We know that often, renewals are complicated — however, this one honestly feels as simple as you are really going to find. Pending some last-minute surprise, we tend to think that another chapter of the show is inevitable. Tom Hiddleston has already suggested as much and thanks to that, we are really just in a spot now where we are waiting for the formal greenlight from Amazon to make it happen. There is already some developmental work being done on it, with a lot of indicators suggesting that it could be the true end of the spy drama’s story.

If there is one thing that we do feel pretty confident about at this point, it is that there’s going to be a much shorter wait between seasons 2 and 3 than what we saw between 1 and 2. There is no reason at all for us to be stuck waiting for an extremely long time again and we tend to think that everyone knows it. The reason that we were stuck so long after season 1 was simply because there was no indicator at that time that there were more stories that needed to be told from Jonathan Pine’s world.

In the end, the most important thing to us here is simply that each season has their own feel, and also contains significant revelations for a lot of the characters involved. If there is one major criticism for The Night Manager season 2, it is that it took a little while to get going. That is something that we hope can be rectified in some shape or form as we move forward.
