Grey’s Anatomy season 22 episode 8 promo: Jo’s recovery

As we get closer to Grey’s Anatomy season 22 episode 8 on ABC next week, there is an obvious bit of good news to share: Jo is okay! She has made it through her near-death crisis and she now has a chance to see her babies.

Of course, all of this is good news, but a big part of her storyline from here on out is going to be her continued recovery, which we presume is not going to be something that happens that fast. If you head over to the link here, you can see a new promo that does its part to set the stage to a certain extent. We do think that she is somewhat out of the woods, but not free of possible setbacks. There is also the story question as to how the producers will continue to conclude her, given the fact that she will realistically not be working at the hospital for some time.

As for what else the preview hypes up, we are going to continue to see Dr. Richard Webber do some of what he does best — in other words, act extremely stubborn and not listen to some advice that could genuinely help him. We know that he is exceptional at what he does but sometimes, characters do need to be saved from themselves and this may be exactly what we are looking at here. Watching this story play out could certainly prove interesting over time.

Meanwhile, Owen is going to find himself next week either to feel inspired — and yet, somehow doing this may end up in a disaster. Is there ever a moment where things are peaceful for this guy? It certainly does not seem like it!
