Billy the Kid season 3 episode 2 spoilers: The ambush

As you look towards Billy the Kid season 3 episode 2 on MGM+ next week, is there more that we can say about the future?

Well, first and foremost, it does feel right to remind you at this point that we are entering the final chapter of the Western series. If you know the story of the title outlaw, then you also know what eventually transpires with him at the hands of Pat Garrett. Based on what we are hearing so far about the next episode, this is going to be a focus — even if we’re not at the pivotal showdown just yet. This is a story with a lot of chapters still left in it, and they are going to take their time — while also focusing on the Regulators at the same exact time.

Billy and the Regulators are ambushed by Garrett after a betrayal and Jesse deals with a loss, while Catron has a conflict with his daughter as he tries to seize The House from Riley.

At this point, what we are hoping for is that we’re going to see a consistent thrill ride from start to finish, one where there is an array of twists and turns and where you see one party outsmart the other. Sure, we know that this is a Western, but we do think that there are going to be some aspects here that are a little bit similar to a chess match. One group of people will be thinking how they can outsmart the other at each and every turn.
