Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 premiere date hopes

Following the season 3 finale on Paramount+ today, of course it makes sense to want to know more about Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4. When will it premiere?

Of course, there are a lot of things to talk about regarding this show, but we should note that season 4 was actually greenlit a good while ago. Not only that, but the series was renewed for a fifth and final season prior to season 3 even premiering! We tend to think that this move has been done with the hope that it will reduce time between seasons. This is a universe that requires a lot of post-production time for visual effects and if you did not film far in advance, there’s a risk of extremely long breaks after every finale.

Because of the early renewal, we do think there is a chance that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 airs at some point next year, even if that means late summer or early fall. Yet, do not view this as a guarantee since it is really up to Paramount+ to determine when they want the show back. They are going to think primarily through the lens of what makes sense for them as a streamer, especially when it comes to the rest of their schedule.

Now we know that format-wise, this is not one of those series that is going to be undergoing any sort of massive change. However, we do wonder how Pike is going to be able to deal with what happened at the end of last season when it comes to Marie Batel. That feels like one of those events that could leave some sort of forever mark on him and change almost everything that is coming the rest of the way.
