‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: How will Tyler Blackburn’s story be told?

If there is one story on “Pretty Little Liars” that will especially be interesting on this upcoming season, it is finding out what happens with Tyler Blackburn’s character of Caleb. While he has yet to make his presence felt so far during the season, he is going to be back beginning Tuesday night with an arc that will focus at first on his relationship with Hanna (Ashley Benson), but end somehow with him making the big decision to leave this town in order to be in “Ravenswood,” the spin-off series debuting this fall.

So will this story be one that builds up over time, or just explode in a flurry when the town is introduced near the Halloween special? Based on what Blackburn had to say in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, it certainly looks like we are seeing more of the latter:

“On Pretty Little Liars, Caleb is definitely there to help Hanna uncover these mysteries with “A” and who Red Coat is. That’s his main focus. Something happens in the Halloween episode that repaves his path so that his attention is more on his ancestors and his past and his bloodline.”

While you will find out much more on this show about where Caleb as a character came from, one of the big questions is what is going on with his father, who he is trying to work on things with. While Blackburn insists that this story may not be as huge in the upcoming season as many would expect, it still could somehow end up playing an interesting role in his emotional psyche.
