NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 2 spoilers: ‘House’ alum in to romance…
Who says that you can’t find love in a dangerous world where the power goes on and off? For a while, Miles seemed to come close to having it with Nora on the first season of “Revolution,” but there was a little problem that came into play courtesy of the fact that she died. Therefore, the man is alone unless you are one of those Miles / Rachel shippers, and we now have some news on who could be the next person to enter the fold.
Sources are confirming that Jessica Collins (“House,” “Zero Dark Thirty”) has been booked for at least four episodes of the show’s upcoming second season as Cynthia, a smart, funny woman who could end up getting involved in a romance with one of the show’s main characters. This is not confirmed to be Miles, but for the time being this could be the#1 option.
Production for season 2 of “Revolution” will be kicking off soon in the Austin area, and this follows up a year for the show in North Carolina. Perhaps the biggest challenge for this show is not going to be surviving a post-blackout world or finding the right balance with its characters (including the much-maligned Charlie); there is also the little issue of having a new time-slot Wednesday nights at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time, a spot that “The Voice” cannot help as a lead-in. Therefore there will be much less of a leg to stand on, and some competition from both “The X Factor” and “Survivor,” which seems to be the underground bunker of TV shows.
