‘Teen Wolf’ season 3: Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien to take on Comic-Con

For those of you who are “Teen Wolf” fans out there, be prepared to smile, because your show is coming back to Comic-Con! While MTV does not have much of a presence at the San Diego convention when it comes to their original programming (mostly because a good chunk of it really doesn’t belong there), the cast and production team will all be a part of the event once again to take questions, have a little fun, and also tease the remainder of season 3.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the folks in attendance this year will be stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Daniel Sharman, Max Carver, Charlie Carver and Executive Producer Jeff Davis. The panel itself will be held on the first real night of the convention in Thursday, July 18, and there is not an exact time given for the event just yet.

The network is also planning for the first time an event brought on by MTV2 known as “MTV2 Party in the Park,” where fans at Comic-Con can hang around outside, enjoy some live music, and partake in some free food and drinks. (That’s right: Free food at Comic-Con. Start fainting with joy now.) The event starts at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time on July 18, and the performers for the show are still to be determined.

The presence of MTV at this event once again shows that while they may not be a “geek” channel in any sense of the word, they do have an understanding that bringing in this sort of audience is important to expanding their loyal viewer base. Plus, who doesn’t want to come to this four-day party?
