Paula Deen thanks Food Network despite end to ‘Paula’s Party,’ other shows
Check out Paula’s statement below on the network’s decision to not renew her contract following this scandal:
“I would like to thank The Food Network for 11 great years. Because of the gift The Food Network gave me, I have had the pleasure of being allowed into so many homes across the country and meeting people who have shared with me the most touching and personal stories … This would not have been possible without the Food Network. Thank you again. Love and best dishes to all of ya’ll.”
You could give Paula credit here for taking the high road, but this is really just the end of several huge PR blunders following what was a terrible comment in the first place. Sources tell TMZ that just as much as the original deposition, it was her skipping out on a “Today Show” interview, releasing an awkward, choppy apology, and then releasing another apology later that really caused them to make a move to take her off of their celebrity roster.
If you want to read a little more as to whether or not her upcoming “MasterChef” appearance will continue on as planned, all you have to do is visit the story over at the link here.
