‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Where do Chris Colfer, Darren Criss stand on proposal idea?
Are we really going to see Kurt and Blaine become engaged during the early stages of “Glee” season 5? We certainly understand that this is a question that fans of the show are desperate to get just like they are desperate to see Brittany and Santana get back together. Fans care about these characters, and it’s what happens when you put them together and allow them opportunities to form bonds over time.
However, there is also another issue that comes into play here and that’ s whether or not delivering the instant gratification is the best thing for all characters down the road. While you may want to see Kurt and Blaine become engaged, is this really the best idea for two people who are not even really a couple right now? Also, it really takes a big leap over them really starting to get used to being a relationship again, to the point where they are suddenly in a life long commitment.
While the secret about the proposal will almost surely not be revealed until September, Darren Criss actually told “Entertainment Tonight Canada” recently (see the video below) that neither he nor Chris Colfer necessarily want to see an engagement happen yet:
“Chris and I have not been down with it from day one. There’s a difference between shooting for marriage equality and having teenagers get married.”
Granted, the two actors probably want to play roles that are potentially meaty and conflict-laden, while the fans want them together and happy. After a rough season 4 for the two, we anticipate seeing something this coming season that tries to combine some of the best of both worlds.

I want to see blane and kurt back together to theyare so cute to gether and I think that they will be a great couple I think what should happen with the hole thing is that they should get back together blaine moveing to newyork to with with kurt and they work things out I love thoses 2 together it makes the show more fun to watch and he proposel I think should wait tell almost to the end of season 5 but I think they should get back together in the beginning of season 5

I think if Ryan Murphy wants to keep a lot of his fanbase, he has to start making more intelligent decisions with his plots. The show needs better writers, for one. The Catfishing and the Bulimia and every other plot they’ve done has just been stale and unoriginal. It isn’t the show it once was anymore, and it’s a bit depressing to see things go downhill so fast. The Klaine storyline is old, just like Finchel, and I think the characters really have to explore themselves before they explore their relationships again.

I want Kurt and Blaine back together but not engaged yet. They really do need to talk things out. But I also don’t want to wait all of season 5 for it to happen. Get them back as a couple and then give them a better story line.

I hope Glee season 5 & 6 will get more creative in exploring other interesting aspects of Kurt & Blaine’s life and love in groundbreaking ways, not just back and forth chasing the other.
I also hope their story line will get more improved and career oriented, more in stories that shape their future. I think that will be great samples for young generations, as we know today’s teenagers in general pay too much attention to feelings, love, etc.
I can almost feel that the entire cats and dogs running around play will be for Kurt and Blaine during season 5 and maybe also 6, and I can see why Chris & Darren want it that way.
Ryan Murphy once said in an interview that a major change will happen. It might be a leap in time whereas they will jump several years ahead.. that way, we can see the future of those underdogs kids and also see some realistic setting for Kurt & Blaine’s marriage to happen. :))

I also want to see Kurt’s feelings explored. So far, its been about what Blaine has been feeling. Guess what? I care more about what Kurt is feeling. I hope they end up together but I hope for a long, sweet, road back…

I do too! I care more about Kurt’s feeling. Kurt is very “Glee”. Blaine is a shallow character originally made to accompany Kurt. Kurt is a deep character rooted in Glee and can always stand alone.

I really don’t believe that the Glee writers are going to get Kurt and Blaine engaged. I think story line will end badly. Either Blaine will not ask or if he does the answer will be no. Kurt is going to say he has boyfriend. They are not even a couple. Did they have their heart to heart talk? I don’t think so. They seem to be in two different place emotionally. I think the writers will their work cut of for them to find a storyline that brings them back together, but think it will not be until the end of season 5.
