‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Joseph Morgan on Klaus / Caroline ‘moment’

If there is a moment coming up that will make fans of Klaus and Caroline on “The Vampire Diaries” rather thrilled, it is rather ironic that it would happen right around the same time that we have seen something that could make Klaus rethink just about everything in his life. We still haven’t had much time to process the fact that (major spoiler alert from “The Originals”) Hayley is pregnant with his child, but the door may be starting to open up when it comes to the character getting closer to the woman he has really wanted to be with for a long time.

In speaking about a scene that is coming up between our two beloved characters this week, Joseph Morgan had the following to say per TV Guide:

“It’s going to come in the guise of an olive branch, and then it’ll start as something that I think people have wanted for a long time – but we’ll see where it goes.” 

But could Caroline actually hook up with Klaus while still having Tyler in her heart? This is the major stumbling block, and part of the appeal of the whole “Klaroline” pairing ever since its onset has been the tease between them. Plus, the character choices have to remain realistic even on an unrealistic show, and Klaus has so much baggage that even an army of hybrids may not be able to carry all of it (including the fact that he, you know, killed Tyler’s mother in a rampage at the end of the fall half of the season).

In moving beyond Thursday night’s episode, Caroline is going to have some more interesting moments that take place in the upcoming “The Walking Dead” episode. If you want to read more scoop on that, all you have to do is head on over to the link here.
