‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Waiting Sucks’ with Joe Manganiello (video)

Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to share the first “Waiting Sucks” video for “True Blood,” and it featured none other than Ryan Kwanten’s Jason getting rather threatening with Nora over the identity of Warlow, the mystery vampire responsible for taking the lives of his parents.

So this time around, we’re howling at the moon courtesy of the latest teaser featuring Alcide. Joe Manganiello’s character is front and center, along with a discussion about whether or not he’s taking some of his packmaster duties seriously enough. After all, he’s made some controversial decisions, with some of them clearly involving Marcus’ mother along with Luna’s daughter. Is Luna even around anymore to care for the child? That was the cliffhanger at the end of last season, and if Janina Gavankar managed to film some on this show along with her recent gig on “Arrow,” we’ll give her a round of applause for having such a busy schedule.

Manganiello has said in some interviews that Alcide is going to have a pretty crazy season this time around, as his new duties force him to look out for a collective more than he ever has before. On the romance side, he also has an opportunity to play the field, as his new position has somehow made him even more appealing to women than he was before. (Sorry, fans of Joe’s abs: There is no shirtless action in the clip.)
