‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: Andrew’s conspiracy theory
While we heard throughout the weekend in the “Big Brother Canada” house that the Power of Veto Competition was one of those “how badly do it you want it?” tasks, what does still remain a mystery is how the challenge was structured. Without really getting a visual on it, it is certainly not something that is particularly easy to picture in your mind.
So when does this become particularly problematic? Ultimately, it is when you talk about someone wandering around claiming that the competition was one they were never meant to win. This is apparently Andrew’s new justification as to why he lost the challenge, because it was rigged, and production wants to keep Gary around since he is super-popular with fans. (Obviously, since he came back into the game.)
Do we really buy what Andrew is selling? Not in a million years. Production has taken so many steps this season to ensure that competitions are not rigged, even disqualifying an entire Head of Household of Emmett’s after they caught him violating a rule. While the twists may not always be fair, we’ve never seen any evidence of them purposefully handing a competition to one person over the other.
This has just been a hard week for Andrew, since he had to deal with the guy he previously evicted (in Gary) coming back into the house, and also getting his head shaved into a mohawk during this competition. Since that time he’s failed to really make any inroads with anyone when it comes to the voting. Gary’s sure to evict him, and as of right now, the biggest hope that he has is of Jillian throwing him a vote, mostly because she does not want another enemy in the jury. This then causing the blood to get on Emmett’s hands, which should be an interesting debate as to how the showmance wants to play this.
What do you think about Andrew’s new complaints? If you want to read some more “Big Brother Canada” scoop from last night, you can do so over at the link here.

I think it was rigged. Heck yeah. No doubt in my mind they rigged. Apparently the returning juror thing wasn’t even pre-planned. I assume production is trying to prevent all three Nova Scotians from making the final three, which was a set in stone thing when Peter didn’t win his veto.

I do not like saying this (as I am also from the East Coast), but it has to be said – I think Andrew is a bit of a whiner. As a matter of fact, most of us East Coasters are always whining about something and searching for conspiracy theories. We are always looking for some reason to show that we are being victimized. We need to shut up and grow a set!! I have no idea why we are like it, but we are. And Andrew is just proving the point. First of all, most of the BB series (as mentioned above) allows a houseguest to re-enter the game. And, it’s nice that it’s the viewers that get to do that. Secondly, I think Andrew is maybe a little bitter because 1) it shoes that Canada does not agree with his move because we love Gary and his game-play and funny antics and 2) the one big move that Andrew made was reversed. So, I think he just has his panties in a knot. And, just to add to the point, look at how Emmett kept whining about being disqualified during the plaque removal comp. Same thing as Andrew – just kept going on and on and on about it. I can see people being upset and having their say, but to keep going on about it just shows how immature and whiny they are. Sorry :-\

I agree with many of the comments that Gary (or any other player) should not have been able to come back into the house, that late in the game. I’m glad Peter went out, but it could be said he should have had a chance to get back in too, so where do you draw the line? Big Brother does bring back houseguests, but I don’t think they should do so once the jury is in place. Gary has the advantage of game play by now telling the remaining houseguests what the others in the Jury House were thinking, even though he is lying through his teeth, that DOES affect the others and their gameplay when Gary talks. Getting down to final 4, and then throwing a ringer in, is for ratings, and not play. But, that’s TV. Short of disclosing all the future twists at the beginning of the season to show the viewers what is going to happen in advance, leaves it open for the Producers to change the game as it unfolds to ensure ratings at the end of the game.

Ya I don’t think it’s fair either.
I’m not thrilled about Gary being back.
If he wins, we’ll all know it was rigged!

Every format of big brother ever made has brought someone back into the house at least once…except maybe Big Brother Africa…but every other one has! Big Brother Canada is run similar to the US one, and that is just how it goes. At least it is not rigged the same way it was when Brenden came back in when he was in 3rd and the other girl was in 1st, they just wanted Racheal to win.

No need to complain – it is what it is! A tried and true formula for tv entertainment that I for one enjoy.

People need to get a grip! Expect the unexpected! Gary’s presence is perfect. It was getting boring.

Definitely not fair to those that are still in the house. The point of the game is to avoid getting voted out by your housemates. Once voted out, you lose. Unless the producers think you’ll boost their ratings, then they’ll call it a twist, and bring you back!

Andrew did play for HOH and lost, it was Jillian who sat out. Gary did play and obviously lost as well as he is not the HOH. I love when they bring back a player – expect the unexpected. Nothing in life, nor the BB house is fair, it is the game. I’ve been impressed with how the game has been played and will continue to watch. Love it and would think because you are on this site you do as well and possibly will continue to watch if anything just for your own curiosity. A team Gary and/or Emmett fan.

Not fair to Andrew at all how this has played out. For one, Andrew should have been allowed to go for HOH when Gary was put back in. He was at a total disadvantage by not be able to play for HOH.
Seems like the show is minupulating who goes and who wins……i will no longer watch as its obvious that its not the players deciding the winner, its Big Brother Canada!
