‘Dancing With The Stars’ 16: Catherine Giudici proud of Sean Lowe’s performance
“Bachelor” star Sean Lowe didn’t exactly tear up the dance floor with his foxtrot on the premiere of “Dancing With The Stars” 16, but in the end the only person he was really hoping to impress with his dance moves was his new fiancee, Catherine Giudici and his mission was accomplished.
Lowe’s dance was very stiff and he his nerves probably didn’t help the situation, but he and his pro dance partner, Peta Murgatroyd, did the best they could and with the help of his devoted fan-base he will probably stick around for a while. The “Bachelor” star spoke to US Weekly about his performance and said that even though he felt confident in his dance routine, he realizes that his confidence may not have helped his dance. He said: “Confidence doesn’t always translate into a great dance. Dancing is a challenge and I am one that loves to embrace a challenge and do things outside of my comfort zone. This certainly fits that mold, and most importantly Catherine was behind me. She was the first person I called after they approached me and she said she would support me and thought it would be a fun opportunity for both of us.”
The one person who loved his dance and was beaming with pride in the audience was his beautiful fiancee, Catherine. Lowe revealed what she said to him when he went over to her to see what she thought, saying: “I went over to her and she just said she was so proud of me, and that she loved me. I think she’d give me a 10, I know the judges didn’t tonight. That’s what a good fiance does.”
With the long hours Lowe has to put in with Murgatroyd for rehearsal, it’s easy to think Catherine would become insecure, especially since many of the dancers over the years have ended up in relationships (mostly short lived ones) with their celebrities, but Catherine is secure in her love with Sean and isn’t worried in the least. Sean said: “It’s tough at times, (the long rehearsal hours), but lucky for me she understands and supports us and knows Peta’s work ethic, but when I’m not rehearsing I always make sure to capitalize on our time together. Peta is certainly a gorgeous girl, anyone can see that, but Catherine is so confident and not worried, and her and Peta have become friends!”
