‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: One terrifying tease from Marlene King

With the season 3 finale of “Pretty Little Liars” right around the corner, we thought it may be prudent to share a quick tease of what the writers and producers are working on already for season 4. After all, this way you can consider yourself a step ahead while you sit around and wait for new episodes to start again on June 4.

Thanks to the show’s strategy of dividing each season into halves, this particular episode Tuesday night was shot late last year, and in addition to that, showrunner Marlene King has been working on the new season for some time. In a new post on Twitter, she did her part to explain a small tease that should have all fans of the Liars up late at night (if the finale does not do that to them already):

“What we shot 2nite for s4 premiere is keeping me awake. Oh holy terror, it’s shocking. Expect nothing but the truth. Come prepared.”

There is only a tiny bit else that we can tease right now about the new season, except that the premiere title in “A is for A-l-i-v-e” should give quite a bit away as it is. Nothing is as it seems right now in Rosewood, but by the time the finale ends, you should have a much better idea about who “The A Team” really is and what some of their actual motivations are, save for just leaving cryptic messages and wearing scary variations of coats and hoodies.
