‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Amanda Tapping promises plenty more action

Just like “Supernatural” fans have been waiting for quite a long time in order to see Misha Collins’ character of Castiel on the show again, many of them can really say the same thing right now about Amanda Tapping’s guest character of Naomi. The two parts are very much linked to each other right now, as Naomi more or less is serving as Cas’ puppeteer for the time being, a situation that is going to become increasingly difficult for the angel’s relationship with Dean especially moving forward.

So how much more of Tapping are we going to see? While there is no guarantee at all that the Naomi role is going to last beyond season 8, the actress did recently say in a post on Twitter that there is still plenty more from her coming up:

“Still have a couple of episodes of @CW_Supernatural to shoot. Great cast and crew. I am having such fun! Naomi is never boring. :) xo”

Tapping is ultimately setting the stage for what will hopefully be an end to season 8 (along with a ninth season) where angels will play a more important role than ever. The show is already casting someone to potentially be one of the wisest angels of all in Metatron, and this part could continue on into the show this fall if it is particularly well-received.

After a rather painful hiatus of a few weeks, “Supernatural” will return with new episodes on Wednesday. The good news? With the return date so close, it’s only a matter of time now until we have some more footage and scoop to share.
