‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Emblem3, Tate Stevens
Ready for some “X Factor” fun this weekend? We’ll star things off with the latest bit of audio from Carly Rose Sonenclar’s recent interview from her visit to Radio Disney, and then we have some other crazy stuff coming up down the road with Emblem3.
Some of this interview contains some new information (including a funny story about trying to find Britney Spears backstage and what the legendary pop star’s dressing room), and there are also some familiar subjects touched on including Carly’s current waiting game for her upcoming debut album. These Radio Disney interviews are probably the best ones that Carly has done, since they don’t project anything on her and she is allowed to actually be a teenager and have a good time talking about her interests.

Emblem 3 viral video – Here is something everyone needs even without them knowing it: Emblem3, the Harlem Shake meme, and the “goat interrupting songs” meme thrown into one video. Enjoy … at least if you like goats, Emblem3 shirts, and a song that has somehow taken over the internet.
Tate Stevens signs up … for the Academy of Country Music! We’re hearing that the country singer has joined the organization as a part of their program to offer a one-year membership to artists who are trying to emerge within the genre. Tate’s debut single, “Power of Love Song,” will really start to impact country radio next month; and with that, the show will try to have its first bona fide hit single from one of its stars.

hey lily, no offense, but u sound very jealous, im sorry. cant u be happy for the girl? i went to her parade and she was like 2 feet from me and she is the sweetest nicest girl ever (and extremely beautiful). her speech to all of us at the parade made me tear up. for u to say shes not a nice person is just messed up. she does so much for charity and for other people and shes only 13, actually she started with the starlight foundation YEARS ago. come on guys, grow up and give this girl some credit, i know it sounds cliche but stop hating, haters! geez

Hi Lily A.,
You might be too young to understand or control your jealousy, but I want to make sure you understand why Carly had a parade.
Carly is a citizen of your town and she represented your town better than anyone could ever dream. Your town is proud of her achievements and to have been represented by her to the world.
America and many people around the world adores Carly for more than just her X-Factor rank. To see her town acknowledge her with a parade made many people everywhere very happy.
You should be proud of Carly too, but even if you are not, you should realize the parade was special to more than just your town and Carly deserved that honor.

I have noticed that carly’s fans are mostly brasilians or older people. If u follwed the x factor carly didn’t seem very nice she seemed stuck up. I have an Emblem 3 acct and 4 people who have met carly say she isn’t very nice, they met her at ed sheeran’s concert, her parade, or in nyc. They have pics with her too, but I guess she gives an attitude when you meet her. I don’t like her anymore for that. Plus she’s boring and dull.

If carly rose signed a contract where is the press release? I haven’t seen it. Last I heard they were trying to get another label to distribute, surprisingly they haven’t found anyone.

Lily…so immature, but doesn’t surprise me. There are always going to be those incredibly jealous people like you that exist in this world. I really don’t care how well you know her, although I still don’t believe it, she’s left an incredibly positive impression on a lot of people and other than you, people in her community have all had positive things to say about her as well. For her age she’s incredibly grounded and her work with children is inspiring, which by the way she started long before she became so popular so it clearly isn’t a publicity stunt. If you invested as much time and energy focusing on your own life and not trying to tear someone else down you could do soemthing good with your life.

Lily here’s some free advice. Stop embarrassing yourself. Carly will outgrow fake friends and jealous haters and move onto bigger and better things in life. You talk about her being spoiled, but if you visited a third world country you’d realize how spoiled you were too.
She’s not perfect and neither are you. The only difference is she’s headed for stardom and you’re not. Try coming to terms with that.

This is why stars get homeschooled or tutored..Carly’s mom needs to pull her out of regular school because this will only get worst since she’ll be in high school next year. It’s why Camila Cabello is now homeschooled and not going back to regular school. Some of the people from Camila’s school released videos of her while at school. No one respects privacy these days

Wrong. Carly knows who I am talking about. She’s friends with Justin, Claire, Jill, Luisa, camryn, allison, Jessica, Sydney, Ellie, etc. But not everyone likes her. Some of her own friends were rooting for Tate like maddie and emma. You should see the house she lives in. Wow I finally found a site that posts her news I can come on here and tell you what she does at school. Today she ate a peaches fruit cup and some soup. She usually eats salad. She doesn’t like to eat cafeteria food. We are reading ‘to kill a mockingbird’ in English class. I guess my opinion changed regardng carly bc of how she treated my friend.

Alycia, you’re absolutely right, it’s jealousy. And I’m sure that person doesn’t know Carly’s friends, sounds made up to me. She’s the best singer of that entire group and it doesn’t matter where she comes from. We, as fans, simply will continue to support her and ignore the jealous haters.

I don’t like Carly. Sorry not sorry. I agree about the 90210 part andreana. I know carly’s own friends like Emma Dausfault and Maddie Leeds voted for Tate and not carly.yes the same emma that was on tv praising carly. She was on her twitter feed praising tate and wanting tate to win. And a ton of people at rye neck school like anna costa wanted Tate to win. Why? Cuz Carly lives in a nice house and has everything handed to her. I go to school with Carly and I’m sick of her pictures and articles hanging around the school. Like she came in 2nd. She didn’t win. And why did she even have a parade? People at school were laughing about it. Carly take a cue from your mom and be nice to people…btw most of carly’s fans are from outside the united states. Might explain why they’re having a hard time geting another label to sign her. Not many fans in the U.S.

Yes. If you watched the xfactor. Carlys mom suffered a sever stroke in a hotel room alone with Carly. When Carly was only ten years old. And Carly Called 911 and was alone and scared. Everyone has some sort of tragedy or something. Where you live shouldn’t matter. Rich or poor. Sad story or happy story. It is about talent. And Carly has an amazing voice. She is also smart, poised and very hardworking. She deserves every happiness and success . I will be a fan of Carly’s for life. I wish Diamond and her mom all the best too. Don’t pick on Carly she does not deserve it.

You don’t know what you are talking about, Andreanna. Carly’s mom has had serious health problems as well. And not all of Westchester is wealthy. Diamond White is fantastic but I don’t know why you feel it necessary to build her up by taking cheap shots at Carly. She does not deserve it.

Carly should cover Whitney Houston’s ‘How Will I know” for her next cover or one of Brandy’s songs when Brandy was a young teen phenom R & B singer. There’s really no girl teen singer out there, so expect Simon to tap into that market with songs that are like Taylor Swift’s–young, girly, teenagy.
