‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Chandra Wilson pulls double-duty … again!
As you may have heard a little bit earlier this year, Chandra Wilson is going to sink her teeth into directing yet again for an upcoming “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 episode; and luckily, you are not going to have to wait too much longer for this one at all.
According to Wetpaint, the actress, who is best known for playing the part of Dr. Miranda Bailey on the series, stepped into the director’s chair for “Transplant Wasteland,” the episode that will air on March 14. This is far from the first time that Wilson has exercised her directing muscles, and it is not even the first time this season, as she also took on the role for the sixth episode of the season entitled “Second Opinion.”
As the synopsis we published recently highlights, this episode will focus primarily on a transplant crisis that unfortunately occurs right at the time that Seattle Grace Mercy West is going through a major change in ownership. While the plane crash survivors all now have some major skin in the game, Catherine Avery has appointed none other than her own son Jackson to take charge. Running a hospital is no easy job for any individual to take on, but you have to imagine that it is going to be more than just a little bit difficult for a guy who is really just a year past succeeding at his board exams. He be thrown to the wolves almost right away, and the question from there is just whether or not he will find the strength within himself to get back on his own two feet.
