‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Tate Stevens, Emblem3, Carly Rose Sonenclar
For this Monday edition of “The X Factor” USA notes, we have news about three out of the top four contestants from this past season, beginning with proof that Tate Stevens is planning to release his debut album strangely before even the season 1 champ in Melanie Amaro has managed to have the same thing.
In a statement, Sony Nashville confirmed on Monday that Stevens’ self-titled debut will arrive in stores on Tuesday, April 23, and will be highlighted from the country singer’s current lead single “Power of a Love Song.” While the downside to this early release is that he will have less to promote on “The X Factor” season 3, it is coming out at an early enoguh time in which for many of Stevens’ fans to remember him.
Here is what Stevens had to say in a statement:
“For someone that has dreamt of recording and releasing music for over a decade, to say I’m excited is an understatement. I feel like the songs we selected for the album are a real reflection of my personality—they range from fun-loving to serious and everything in between. I’m so proud of this album and can’t wait for the fans to hear it!”
Emblem3 performs at a familiar place – Before making it on “The X Factor,” Emblem3 spent years trying to work their way into the Huntington Beach music scene, and earlier today they hit up the local pier in order to rock out with some familiar songs.
In the video below, you can hear the band perform the song that they auditioned with on the show in “Sunset Boulevard,” complete with some of the instruments they rarely had opportunities to play.
Carly heads home – After spending the past several days working with producers, doing interviews, and even taking part in photo shoots in Los Angeles, Carly Rose Sonenclar confirmed early Monday morning that she is now back in New York City, where she is in order to continue her education. After all, it’s easy to forget sometimes that she is still a teenager.
Carly has joined the Syco Music team, and now, we are just waiting for a label to take her on so that work on a debut album can truly begin.

Good on you Oleo & Dan :)
I agree with your comments – well said. I was getting tired of people who have nothing better to say about someone or something. Everyone has there own opinions about what musicians or bands they like, so leave it at that!
Anyway, all my big Stars go to Carly. She has always won my heart from her very 1st audition and every song she has sung during the xfactor competition. How ever long it takes before her debut album comes out, it doesn’t matter – she will always be remembered as being the ‘best of the best’ in my opinion. Her voice is so amazing to listen too. Carly Sonenclar is the Winner !

Plenty of diverse musical tastes in this world for all of them to exist and be successful. If their music isn’t your flavor no need to make any hateful comments. I agree with Oleo, for me it’s Carly and he soulful style. Looking forward for her music in the near future.

The world is a big place with a lot of musical tastes. It’s big enough for everyone to have their favorite music and musicians. Don’t wish any ill on Tate, Emblem 3 or 5H – they have their music and their fans – that’s great. For me – well – it’s Carly Rose all the way! She sings music that fits my style and does it in a way that speaks to my inner musician. Can’t wait to see where she takes it!

I 2nd what “Big Poppy” said. Except Tate Stevens has a great singing voice, and I don’t like country. Ever since “Brokenhearted” Carly’s been the TRUTH!
