‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, episode 14 preview: Jo and Alex get weird
If there os ever a sign of compatibility between two “Grey’s Anatomy” characters, it is when the two start making animal noises to keep the couple living above them from having sex. This very strange moment is featured in the sneak peek below from Thursday night’s new episode “The Face of Change.”
As for who’s responsible for the noises, it’s none other than Jo and Alex! The former foes-turned-friends are inching ever closer to that moment where they could finally become something more, and there are at least a few seconds here in the midst of all of their barking and strange noise-making they they are literally inches away from each other. While they are not featured in the sneak peek below, you have to wonder just what Cristina and Owen think about all of this: they went through a cheating scandal, a plane crash, and a divorce between ending up together, and now they have to endure these two acting like crazy people.
To make this entire situation even more awkward, Jackson spends most of the scene making out with his new main squeeze, even though he is a visitor to someone else’s home. Of course, this does not last forever once he starts to realize that nothing kills the mood more than Alex acting like a “giraffe.”
In some ways, we see this clip as being even more polarizing to the Alex / Jo fanbase. Some people may see this as growth and beg for them to be together, whereas some others may plead to have them stay friends, that way this sort of fun is not lost.
