ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 13 preview: Are Jack and Amanda [spoiler]?
After so many weeks of speculation surrounding the infamous remains of a boat on “Revenge,” we are finally getting near the point of that flash-forward from the premiere; and not only that, but the identity of the body has really been narrowed down to just a couple of suspects: Jack and Amanda.
As the new clip from next Sunday’s episode (via “Entertainment Tonight”) clearly shows, both Amanda and Jack are going to have one of the happiest moments of their lives in the wedding ceremony … a moment that Emily clearly states that Jack “deserves” after everything that he has been through over the course of his life.
Then, tragedy somehow strikes while the two are sailing off into the ocean on a sort of honeymoon. What happens to them? The promo promises there to be some sort of explosion, gunfire, and the boat getting ready to sink; but more than any of these individual events, Emily seems to be primarily blaming herself for merely allowing Jack to get out of her sight for long enough for something to happen to him.
At the moment, there are certainly a number of people who are out to hurt the man, at least based off of some of what led to his arrest earlier this season. Did someone hatch a new successful plan, or is there a new and surprising face responsible for the crash? After we do end up learning who is dead at the bottom of the ocean, we will then have to learn just how and why this disaster happened in the first place. We suspect that this will make up a good portion of the remainder of the season, just as the season thus far has largely focused on the road leading up to this accident.
