‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Will there be another attack on Woodbury?
Everyone knows there’s a war brewing between Rick and the Governor after Rick and his crew infiltrated Woodbury to rescue Glenn and Maggie, leaving a mess in their wake. The Governor’s rage has been made all the more real after learning that Merle lied to him when he said Michonne was dead as she killed his daughter Penny and took his eye.
In season 3 of “The Walking Dead” viewers are expecting the Governor to be the one bringing an army to the prison and provoking the next battle, but in a new interview with TV Guide, Executive producer Greg Nicotero reveals that it’s very possible that Rick and his group may attack Woodbury again to try and get back Daryl. He said: “It’s very possible there might be another attack on Woodbury. We’ve established the conflict between the Governor and Rick and we’ll explore that a lot more in the second half.”
If you are an avid watcher of “The Walking Dead” then you know to expect the unexpected with this series, so it was not surprising to learn that if there is another attack on Woodbury, that not everyone in Rick’s group will make it back to the prison. Will that mean someone will die or will they be captured? Producers have already said that the body count will rise in the second half of season 3 and we already know that they are not afraid to kill off main characters as they have done with Lori and T-Dog already this season, so don’t be shocked if another main character bites the dust before the season is over.
