‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Tate Stevens, Fifth Harmony, Carly Rose Sonenclar

The big news breaking around the world of “The X Factor” USA at the moment is still the recent signing of Fifth Harmony to a record deal, and with that in mind it still seems appropriate to share a few comments on this very subject.

Let’s begin with some evidence of just how popular Lauren, Ally, Normani, Camila, and Dinah Jane are with just their fans on Twitter. Variations on the group’s name have become worldwide trending topics on the social-networking site multiple times within the past twenty-four hours, and when was the last time you saw a girl group have this honor? The girls have found a way to come across a real, likable young ladies, and thus they have obtained a loyal fan following of people who have shunned other female groups and contestants in the past.

As for some fellow “X Factor” contestants, Arin Ray and CeCe Grey have each personally congratulated the group on getting their deal with Syco and Epic Records, whereas there own mentor in Simon Cowell has congratulated both them and their fans for making it happen.

On a different note, two other contestants in Carly Rose Sonenclar and Paige Thomas have jokingly retweeted a message on their accounts asking for Simon to sign them next. Carly is the only member of the top four at the moment without an official record deal; but based on all of the rumors that we’ve heard over the past month, we have a feeling that she is going to end up being just fine.

A meeting – Meanwhile, we had the opportunity to witness something that we can really best describe as rare: the winners of two separate singing competitions actually hanging out together. Cassadee Pope from “The Voice” recently posted a photo of herself in Tate Stevens, as the two recently had the opportunity to meet at an event. While Tate is as country as the earth is round, Pope (who mentored with Blake Shelton on the show) is adding some country notes to what was originally more of a pop sound for her debut album.
