‘Arrow’ spoilers: First look at Seth Gabel as show’s version of Count Vertigo
There are “Arrow” episodes that we are looking forward to; and then, there are episodes that we are practically begging to see right away. Luckily, the CW series is not going to make us wait for too much longer before lifting the veil on one of their most-anticipated villains.
The photo attached here is the first look at the show’s upcoming version of Count Vertigo, a man who is desperate to rise up in the criminal syndicate in Starling City. As for what makes him a little bit more dangerous than the average villain on the show, it’s simple: there is the ambition, and there is also the fact that while the Hood has been taking out so many other nefarious criminals, it has given him more and more opportunities to have a foothold on the city as he passes around an addictive drug known only as vertigo.
The character is played here by a man in Seth Gabel who already knows a thing or two about great genre programming courtesy of his time on “Fringe,” and every indication that we have about him right now suggests that he is going to deliver as one of the most entertaining characters on the show yet. While he was originally set to appear in a lengthy arc, the plan now seems to be for him to show up once in episode 12, and then possibly resurface at some point down the road depending on where the story ends up going. (Other characters, include Helena / The Huntress, may also be back this season.)
“Arrow” returns to The CW on Wednesday night with another all-new episode; and if you want to find out some more scoop about what happens during it, just be sure to visit the link here.
