‘Supernatural’ season 8, episode 10 preview: Misha Collins and Kevin’s dilemma
In case you have not heard yet, Misha Collins’ Castiel will be back on Wednesday night’s new “Supernatural” season 8 episode, and he will be bringing along with him a mission to continue down the hunter path that he was set on during the fall. We still don’t understand every little thing that he is up to with Naomi (Amanda Tapping), but it’s hard to complain when it allows him the chance to work with the Winchester brothers a little bit more.
With the show returning to The in precisely one week, it only seems like the perfect time to unveil a new sneak peek; and in this one, we have an opportunity to see Cas and Dean try to solver their latest demon problem by chatting with the man who really could end up saving everyone: Kevin. The problem here is that, rather unfortunately, Kevin does not seem to have his head in the game. He seems as though he is detached, despondent, and unable to really give anyone just what they are looking for from him. Thankfully, at the end of the new clip from Wednesday’s episode (which you can see below), Dean and Cas reach out to him with an offer to help.
This episode is likely not going to be a conclusion by any means for the latest demon problems, as we expect this to last for a while. However, we do anticipate Sam making a decision pretty soon when it comes to whether or not he wants to abandon this life to be with Amelia; and while he is not seen at all in this video, we really don’t think it is in his DNA to suddenly drop many of his life passions for the sake of someone else.
What do you think about this video? If you want to see a rather interesting new “Supernatural” season 8 episode title (which even goes as far as to include a Disney reference), you can do so over at the link here.

Hey, thanks for answering Lee. Now I’m a little less worried, because he still will appear in at least three more episodes. But ugh, he’s already insane enough (wanting to punish himself, having suicidal thoughts etc), please don’t let him have a mental breakdown, he’s going to end up losing his mind for Christ’s sake…

It was mentioned that he’d appear in at least 8 episodes, for season 8. “Torn and Frayed” marks the 5th. As much as I know it’d be appropriate for the show, and for the sake of drama, I really DON’T want the character to have a total mental breakdown. Excited and nervous to see what happens next, though!

I am honestly worried about Castiel. What’s going to happen to him after 8×10? When is he going to return? Does anybody know how many episodes he appears in this season?
