‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 video: A look back all about love

Just in case you wanted another reason to smile and/or tear up prior to the return of “Once Upon a Time” season 2, this latest video coming in from ABC will almost surely do the trick. After all, it may very well be a shipper’s delight when it comes to highlighting the love stories of some of the characters that have been there ever since season 1.

While it is obvious that Snow White / Mary Margaret and Prince Charming / David are the lovers at the center of the story, the video smartly makes it clear that they are not the only ones, and love can exist in many forms. In addition to showing off a troubled couple in Rumpelstiltskin / Belle and a doomed one in Regina / the late Daniel, we also get another reminder of how much every member of the Charming family (plus Regina) cares for Henry.

So will romance play a big role moving forward on season 2? Definitely. We are finally going to be seeing just what happens when David and Mary Margaret get to spend some time together with a knowledge of their past in tow, and we also have a reason to be excited over what will hopefully be an eventful few weeks of Rumpelstiltskin and his other half. Of course, Belle is still probably in danger considering that Captain Hook may very well be out for revenge over what Rumple did back in the fairytale world that was to the one that he loved. There will also be some surprising love stories as Emma is set to get a little closer (potentially) to Hook … and who knows? Maybe Regina could still find someone new.
