‘Necessary Roughness’ season 2 spoilers: What to expect from the winter premiere
Much like we did with “Suits” on Sunday, we’ve had a chance to check out one of the other winter premieres for USA over the holiday break in “Necessary Roughness.” Dani and T.K. are going to be back in action soon beginning on January 23 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, and we therefore have a few assorted pieces of scoop to pass along.
For those of you diehard fans worried over spoilers, no need to fear: we are not going to be giving anything major away in here; instead, this is just meant to give you a few other reasons to be excited. The first thing you should know is that there is a time jump in between the summer finale and what we are going to be seeing next, and we will at least be seeing every one of our main characters in a somewhat-different place in comparison to where they were then. With that being said, every single one of them is going to still be dealing with the aftermath of some of the decisions that they made.
As for that “kiss” between Dani and Niko, that is going to be up for discussion during the episode, especially when it becomes clear that Dani has been trying to bury what happened by dealing with some major stress both with T.K.’s recovery and with work, which includes a major shake-up in the wake of Marshall Pittman’s death. We are going to meet one of his next of kin in this episode, and it is fair to say that they are not going to be nearly as excited about football as he was.
By the end of the episode expect to see at least one surprising pairing, a shocking gesture by T.K. to someone that he really has no business being nice to at all, and there will be at least one person with a much different employment status. For now … that’s all we have to say.
