‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2: A new fantasy land for Ginnifer Goodwin
Ginnifer Goodwin has been able to embrace her inner princess courtesy of the ABC show “Once Upon a Time,” and it has also allowed her an opportunity to actually immerse herself with some of Disney’s most-popular princesses out there. The show is ultimately owned by the House of Mouse, so doesn’t that make the actress the perfect woman to help celebrate Walt Disney World’s new Fantasyland? We like to think so.
Earlier this week, Goodwin arrived in Central Florida in order to help speak at and celebrate the opening of the Magic Kingdom hotspot, and she also shared some photos on her official Twitter account alongside some famous characters, including the Beast, who you see to the left. (Doesn’t this guy look different than Robert Carlyle?)
In addition to this image, you can also check out the actress below speaking alongside Jordin Sparks (of “American Idol” fame) and one of the most-popular Disney characters of all at the attraction’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony (via Attractions Magazine). One of the loveliest aspects of this experience from our perspective is that Goodwin seems completely game to embrace her inner fairytale character, which is something that she could be desperately trying to stray from given who she is best known for on TV at the moment. Her Snow White is arguably rather different than the Disney heroine of the same name, but they still have some similar qualities that make each of them in many ways a proper role model.
“Once Upon a Time” season 2 is over for the fall, but the show will return for an all-new episode on Sunday, January 6 entitled “The Cricket Game.” If you want to read some more scoop about how one of the show’s most-notorious villains in Captain Hook is going to do with his upcoming change of scenery, you can find out over at the link here.
