‘Basketball Wives’: Evelyn Lozada looking to be fitness guru
Rather than waiting until “Basketball Wives” comes to a close in order to ensure that her fifteen minutes of fame can last a little while longer, Evelyn Lozada is doing everything in her power now to find another venture to someday take up some of her free time: and based on her stomach in the photo to the left, the potential career that we are talking about here should be no surprise to anyone.
According to a new report from TMZ, Lozada has already signed on to endorse a new caffeine free energy shot known as YouthH20, and she is already in the process of working hard to get in optimal shape with one goal in mind: becoming a fitness guru on par with Jane Fonda. It’s not clear whether or not she wants to create workout videos, books, or anything else of the matter, but if she continues down this road, we will probably know soon.
Lozada would not be the first reality star to dive into fitness, as “Jersey Shore” cast member Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has delved into this business before with some decent results. However, Sorrentino was not focusing in on this the same level as Evelyn is planning to. Could she make this into a career? It is easy to proclaim that most reality TV stars are delusional, but that is not often the case. After all, Bethenny Frankel launched her Skinnygirl brand thanks to “The Real Housewives of New York City,” and NeNe Leakes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is now a star on the NBC comedy “The New Normal.” Success in other ventures really depends on everything from dedication to even a little bit of luck.
Do you think Evelyn could be one of the rare reality stars to actually make a leap forward to another successful career?
